“I photograph to find out what something will look like as a  photograph.”

This simple yet poignant quote by Gary Winograd has been a mantra for Matthew for the last 19 years that he has been  taking pictures.  From the Northern Lights in Alaska, to centuries  old churches in the heart of Mexico, to individual portraits, Matthew  brings the same passion to create interesting pictures to every photo  shoot.

Born and raised in California, Matthew moved to Seattle in 2005 to attend the Art Institute to hone his skills and Photoshop knowledge.
